General required documents

  1- Passport

A Current passport must have been issued within the last ten years and contains at least two blank pages. The passport should be valid for at least 3 months after return from the planned trip.

  2- Invitation / acceptance letter

Ktn Egypt is responsible to provide an official invitation or acceptance letter for accepted applicants signed and stamped by the hosting University in Egypt valid only during the intended stay for Ktn Egypt workshops, summer schools and further events.

  3- Medical Insurance

Travel medical insurance from your home country covering the entire period of intended stay, valid for Egypt and covering any expenses which might arise in connection with repatriation for medical reasons, urgency medical attention, emergency hospital treatment or death during (my) stay. The medical insurance price valid depending on the staying period in Egypt.

  4- Proof of accommodation

Usually, the accommodation fees are included in any of Ktn Egypt’s events except it was mentioned that the accommodation is not included. Thus Ktn Egypt will provide all needed documents, for the accommodation for the applicants during their stay in Egypt, to the accepted applicants beforehand.

  5- Proof of enrollment

Accepted applicants need to provide a proof of enrollment for student applicants, while employed applicants need to provide a proof of employment if they are employed.

  6- Visa Fees

Payment of the visa fees which is around 25 Us Dollars in cash has to be paid by the airport in the intended airport of arival.
